Day One
Arrive in Park City and settle into one of our Mayflower vacation rentals. If you arrive early enough, you can take time to explore Main Street, where you can find plenty of shops, galleries, and restaurants. While you’re here you can have lunch at one of the local eateries to fuel up for the afternoon ahead.
In the afternoon, you can head up to Park City Mountain Resort for some outdoor recreation. During the summer, the resort offers activities such as hiking, mountain biking, zip-lining, and more. Alternatively, if you’re visiting in the winter, the resort offers skiing and snowboarding on its expansive slopes.
After a day of outdoor adventure, you can unwind with a spa treatment at one of Park City’s many luxurious spas. Most of them offer unique treatments that incorporate local ingredients like honey and lavender.
Day Two
On the second day, you can start your day with breakfast at one of Park City’s cozy cafes. After breakfast, you can head out for a scenic drive through the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. This attraction is home to several stunning hikes and scenic vistas, including Mirror Lake and Bald Mountain Pass.
In the afternoon, you can explore the history of Park City by visiting the Park City Museum. This institution showcases the town’s mining history and its transformation into a world-class ski destination. You can also take a self-guided walking tour of the historic downtown area to see the town’s unique architecture and learn more about its past.
For dinner, you can try one of Park City’s many acclaimed restaurants. The town is famous for its diverse culinary scene, with options ranging from fine dining to casual eateries.
Day Three
You can spend your final day in Park City taking in the natural beauty of the area. You can start with a morning hike in the nearby mountains, where you can enjoy the fresh air and stunning views. There are several hiking trails in the area to choose from, ranging from easy to challenging.
After your hike, you can cool off with a swim in one of Park City’s many lakes or reservoirs. Jordanelle Reservoir, located close to our Mayflower vacation rentals, is a popular spot for swimming and paddleboarding.
In the afternoon, you can head to the Utah Olympic Park to learn about the 2002 Winter Olympics hosted in Park City. The park offers a variety of activities, including bobsled rides, zip-lining, and a museum that showcases the history of the Olympic games.
